Hi Sherri and welcome. My son is on the USS Olympia and has been in HI for 2 years. We are planning to visit at the 1st of the new year.

Rhonda8881 I still don't know if my son was able to get a ticket at the last minute. He's only 19 so he can't drink to bad if he was able to get a ticket then maybe your son and mine could have gone together. My son was able to pick up his car this week so they would have a ride together :)

I sent my son a message about the Ball and he said "Yes, I am going. But I can't drink because I have to drive." None of his friends wanted to go! Since he found his new love "scuba diving" he can't afford a room for the night or a taxi!

Question is it to late to get a ticket to the Ball can the sailor buy one at the door. I just got off the phone with my son he has been so busy with work that he completely forgot about it. Just wondering.

My son did not even mention the Ball to me! He must not be going. Thanks, Marla for sharing your pictures with us.
