I agree with Dawn, love my Nick's dog BUT if she bites anyone...I would have to say goodbye. Nope, don't doubt your decision Cathy.

Lynda, that was really sweet for you to take Aaron's dog in ...we keep threatening to send Nick's dog to him when he gets to Hawaii!

Lily, I don't know anything about...anything in Hawaii yet but hope your son can make a move. His barracks sound pretty icky.

Kimmy, we became empty nester two years ago when our daughter went off to collge and Nick joined the Navy so we have finally learned to shop for..two. It's a transition but we are happy together and even happier when our babies come home!

Hi all! Back from our vacation and it may take forever to catch up on the postings here. I seen a couple of tidbits on the news about the weather in Hawaii ...told Nick he could be there packing sandbags. Did the storm ever reach Hawaii?

I so wish it was Hawaii...but I'm settling for some sun and fun in Hilton Head Island with both of our kids while we still have them at home. Wishing everyone a great week - catch up with you when I return.

Definitely. A mandatory meet and greet in Hawaii should be in order for all Hawaii moms!

Son did RAP duty this morning and was back home by noon. He is going back tomorrow for more. He was using 25 days leave up before reporting to Hawaii so if he can capture some of it back - all the better.

Jealous ladies! I want to go to hawaii too.

Nick is home! Looks fabulous and is at his recruiter's office this morning hoping to save a few days of his leave. He graduated on Friday from the Aegis school in Dahlgren, VA. We are leaving on Saturday for HHI so he wanted to try to do his RAP dutry before going on vacation. His recruiter had said...he's only work hime a couple of hours per day...we'll see!
