Thanks Gloria, he is excited. He will be reporting to the USS Chung Hoon - no subs for him. He was born in Yokosuka and really was hoping for orders there but they had told him recently he would be on one of the newer ships and that would rule out Japan. It looks like he will still make it to Japan as one of their ports...it's all good.

This is my personal favorites to get right time. It has a map with the 4 US time zones plus Alaska, Hawaii, Atlantic. It's great for simple minded gals like yours truly.

I tried to add it as a link but was unsuccessfu. You will have to cut and paste it on your browser. Then either save it as a "Favorites" (for Internet Explorer) or "Bookmarks" for Firefox. B.

Wow that is a long working day, that is Ashley's schedule when they are in port? I know when deployed they can work some really long days.

Welcome Gloria. Your son will be beating ours there but we will be shortly behind you.

I'm already dealing with that Dawn! Our son is in C school and on midnights...he is waking up for school as we are heading to bed. Ohhh coordination...not always easy.

Cute little OPSEC board.

I'm in the Eastern time zone and understand HI is six hours behind but they do not participate in daylight savings so their time does not change.
