Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Mp We wre just talking about the Utah lastnight and my son they are working on a memorial for it. "It seems the sinking was not a amazing as it was for the AZ and I'm sure funding plays a big part in it."
I will tell you guys that lastnight I got on Google Earth and my son took me from the exact spot him sub is and we toured Pearl Habor, his new neighborhood, and all the cool spots on the Island he wants to show me. I must say it was cool I understand so much more about everything he talks about. And as for jobs, my son and his roommate said that with the money they are saving from not living on base ( figure that out ) thy can fly me out every couple of months to clean for them ...........I told them to put me on the top of the list.... and when they go out for 6 months i think I'll house sit..............lol

Amy what island/base is your daughter stationed at, my son has been ther for a couple of years if they are close maybe he can help her out with getting to know the area, I found it funny when kellen was home over the holiday an his "boss" kept calling him to get info on the area because he hadn't been there before ( I told him one time when he called that he will be owing my son an extrra day off when I'm there, sfor taking up so much of his time while at home.............LOL) I love the "yes mamm"

most of the tiime i look for flights on line ad then I call my travel agent she is great and all but 1 time get me a better price..............just a thought

Marie when you wear those heels please write to me and let me know how it goes...I got hurt in July of 06, this is my 3rd surgery, and have not worn heels since....besides dancing on the beach heels is one of my goals....

Hang in there Marie this is my second replacement, so if you end needing that ever have that done I'll let you know which way to not have it done....lol.and it takes at least a year to start feeling better ( from what my Dr's tell me)
As far as the cold I always thought that anything lower than 0 would all feel the same . Well let me tell you I have never felt anything as cold as last friday........ and to think we have homeless out there ....has given me a different focuse !!!
I personally think we will see some of the airfares drop alittle by summer. As soon as people stop spending the money they think we are getting from the Gov. What do you guys think.....I'm so happy that my son has an Apart. at least I don't have to worry about paying for rooms...............lol

I told him I'd just go out and clean for them every couple of months.....

Dawn didn't know there was a phone # what supplies are you talking about? I get my boxes and stuff from our Post office.
We are freezing here also although my son said it is nice out today, I guess anything above 0 would seem nice out
I had surgery yesterday, I had my achillies tendon replaced so I'm non weight bearing for 6 weeks so I'm expecting to live a lttle though ou guys so let me know whats going on with everyone
Heather if your guy is on a sib maybe they are out and he can't talk....

Oh lynda a hugg to you , but I'm sure he'll live to see 93. Those bikes do make us worry don't they , but I put the shoe on the other foot when I told my sailor that I was looking at bikes and he's like mom just get a scooter and stick around town.......lol
It sounds like your son is on a cool mission, I'm sure he won't have to drive alone

Hi all Hawaii Moms...if there are any of you that knit, crochet, or sew we have "Knit for the Navy" group and we are striving to make a blanket for all our sailors on ships and boats......we are a small group and growing , but we sure could use help, So please check out or group , you can help us greatly just by getting the word out

I do think that girls tend to take more pics, I do get get pics from Kellen as you can see from my pic here "the one from his office"......When he went on west pac he took a ton pics and downloaded the on his pc and his pc got ruined out in the rain one night so now I have to wait for another west pac......i told him to by a bunch of storage cards and just ship them home when they are full....
