Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed.  Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.

**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.

**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:

In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Ok all you moms for sons ....you will appreaciate this, my son just got a new apartment and I asked him to send pics .......and what do i get ..............a text with a pic of the new TV he just bought with a can of soda next to it for reference of size..............now is that a guy or what...........

I must matter who you work for because I asked my son (because I just knew that he had) if he had ever over slept, and I saw the smile when he said a couple of times, but he didn't act like it was a big thing for him. now he is on a fast attack and "i think" the sub guys have the privilege of being close and a little more relaxed

Sue I have to tell you .....you are not alone my son has been in over 5 yrs and he has not told me about being late for work....( now I need to ask him about this ) because he is home right now and the alarm next to him has been going off for an hour the door is locked so I don't want to wake him , but it sure makes me wonder.......................LOL........and I would have spent the $52 also....

Well ther you go Thanks Nan. I knew they needed ti have them to stay on a boat and my son worked hard for a couple of months to get them. I just check my son flight home and he is over Oragon and half-way home .....WOOHOO.....I can't believe he is leaving the beautiful weather to come to Illinois ( must have one heck of a new years party to go to) lol

and there is so much to learn my son has been in for 5 years and that is about all I know.........lol........but reinlisted so he is happy...........so what else is there to know.....in the beginning I felt bad because every question about the sub got the starndard answer mom I can't tell you that or mom you don't want me to tell you that.....lol.so now we just talk about the differnt views from the windows of the apartments he has been looking at.
So if you learn anyting please share with me. I just talked to kellen and he said his lights went on about an hour ago. so things should be getting back to normal

Thats cool lynda I can't believe my son is coming from Hawaii to Ilinois for the week of new years i told him I'm happy havent seen him since July, but It must be a heck of a party his friends are planning for him to fly into this freezing cold weather..and my son doesn't even party that much.....
