Hi Hawaii families sounds like everyone has been busy. I just started this semester off with caos.the school did some overhauling with other changes and forgot to inform us of some of those changes. Needless to say it was a very confusing day. Mom from St Pete i can relate right now lol. Tysmom have fun with your group those men and women are gonna have lots of smiles. Thank you guys again for the address help my son finally sent it :) now i can send his Birthday card but i do have something to share. My son after he gave me his address he said " mom you know what i want for my birthday ?" i said " no what do you want for your birthday " he said" i want you to get Skylar something amazing from me." Skylar is his niece that will turn a year old at the end of sept he got to see her for the first time just before he went to Hawaii. While he was here she played with his dog tags so that's what he asked me to get her. I did with their pic and on the back it says Skylar I love you Uncle Bobby.

Wow, Mom from St Pete, I bet that was strange to come back from HI and find out that your boss had been fired!

tysmom:  Good luck in your card making for the Sailors.... Sounds like you need a lot more volunteers to help out. I hope you get more help :)

Weather has been HOT and Rainy here in FL. Work too stressful due to they fired my boss and her replacement does not start till Sept. 2nd. She was fired during my 3 week vacation on which I went to HI.  The man taking her place has a lot of learning and catching up to do. In the mean time the rest of us are trying to do it the best we can......

Hey ladies are we running silent?//lol

We should be headed out to HI toward the end of Sept for homecoming. Watching the flights. Little more pricey than last Dec. The second time is not as exciting as the first.

I am hosting a card making get together in MI for our sailors. We have five coming. I am hoping for a few more.

Lots of things to do before we head out. I just want to be a normal person when we go. I will have to find the egg farm and go to the farmers markets while we are there. And snorkel. I look at that as Gods aquarium. Absolutely beautiful! But I want to be in shallow water.

Just got back from visiting my son. We had an amazing time. We really needed another week to fit everything in. Hopefully we are going back in the spring. This time we are just gonna hang out more. Thanks to everyone that posted tips. You really helped make our time there.

Aloha Stadium Swap meet is great for a lot of things. I thought my son said it was open Sat, Sun, and Wed. Great deals!  He also loves to buy and sell on Craigs list..... I sent him checks in birthday cards.
