Good morning pahoapam - I'm am glad that you had a good trip. My son called again last night, it's so nice to hear from him. I was surprised that they even had phone privileges. He did tell me that he wasn't going to turn on his phone at all this week. He didn't want any distractions from the "outside" world.
I went to NavySeals.com Forums and found their link entitled10 simple rules of engagement. This may be the site you are speaking of, it's very informative. Have a great day.

Good Morning Ladies!!! I'm glad you are all getting phone calls. I had a great trip and spent some quality time with my friend. Monday morning back to reality. I talked with my son last night and he was just trying to get prepared for the week ahead. I hope they all make it this week. For you new ladies I hope everyone is getting settled in and liking how much phone time you're getting. Wife7 I think your photo is ok-Here's what I was told-we are to follow the same guidlines as SEALS-there is a section somewhere on here that gives you the guidlines. I will try to see if I can link it for you guys. Hope everyone has a great day and a great week as well! (((((hugs)))))

Hi anotherproudmom - I noticed my hometown is very close to yours. I haven't lived back there for several years now. I really love this site, it is so helpful.
SWCCWife - I heard from my guy the first day but nothing since then. I'm sure he's very busy or he realized what the time difference is. If/When he does call I will let him know to call anytime of the day.

Hi Swccwife, I had to laugh about the late night phone call that happens with us all the time. They get so use to their life and time that sometimes they forget how late it is somewhere else. Although I'll take the calls at anytime..lol

pahoapam - I am glad you are relieved and you don't come off as being a know it all. Enjoy your vacation.
Hi wyomingmom - Thanks for the warm welcome. It's so nice being able to be in contact with people who have "been there." I am so glad there are people out there who willing to give up some of their time to help support others.

Hey Pam. Have a great time, which I am sure you will. You deserve it. My little world traveler comes home on Saturday. YEAH YEAH

babrams I am so glad to hear from you-I swear I worried all night that one of you new ladies would be offended and leave. I am not being a know-it-all I just learned the hard way about the privacy issues. During boot camp we had a lady on our site that was really an instructor (which could be the case now lol!).Any time you need to say something personal just write it in the mail for the inbox. I have no problem sharing my phone number and if any one wants to send a private msg to me or to have my phone number you can find me at yahoo under the same name. I am excited about my trip today but hardly slept last night!!! Hope everyone has a great weekend and that your sailors are safe and happy! Hooyah!

Thanks pahoapam I deleted the comments that mentioned my sons name and I am going to change my pic. I will read the section on loose lips. I am very new at this so I appreciate any advice you can give me. I don't offend very easily so you don't have to worry about that. It's great that you update us on what and how the guys are doing during training. I hope you had a good time while you were out of town.

babrams7-not trying to scare you-you are probably ok but if you want to delete that-look to the right on your comment-there is an x-click that x and it should delete it. I didn't know until recently that the way this works is they can and do monitor the pages. Since I started this page I am considered the administrator. I heard that if someone on our page says too much or something inappropriate I will get a warning to pass on. During boot camp we were monitored and we are monitored now. There is a section some where on here that is entitled "Loose Lips Sink Ships" they said follow those guidelines. Just remember this is special ops, so we have to be careful. You guys may also want to reconsider the picture you have posted. I used to have my pic up too but was told it is best to remove it now that our guys are in San Diego. I know all this sounds crazy, but again we are spec ops. I certainly don't want to discourage any one from posting on here, because we are all in this together!!! I hope I haven't offended anyone and that you will all keep posting...it is an exciting/frustrating time and we all just want our guys to be safe. For those already in BCT-they had BWS (jumping off a high dive in full uniform) and brick treads today....more fun water sports tomorrow (like trying to save drowning victims).... I will probably post in the morning, but I have made the decision to leave my laptop behind this weekend since I really need a vacation. If I hear anything important or significant I will get in touch with WyomingMom and she can post it for me.....I am so excited about going out of town for a few days!!! (Hope I don't have computer withdrawals)!!! Navy Mom hugs to all!!! Hope all you guys heard from your sailors today!!! GO NAVY!!

SWCCWife - Thanks for the info, he called once they landed in Coronado.
pahoapam - I appreciate the info and the advice. I wonder if there is anyway I can delete the info regarding my son. I'm sure they would be able to track it anyway. I hope I haven't done too much damage.
