Hey Ladies!!!! Sorry I have been such a slacker! Hope every one had a great Holiday weekend. Well we are 48 hours away!!! Diana glad your son made it in!! I'll let my son know he got there last night. My son's friend who graduated a couple of weeks ago told my son that they are now telling them that they won't be headed to SD until September. they are the next SWCC group. My son told him just hang on-they may change that. I talked with my son last night and a bunch of them were having dinner together-he said they are all pumped and all nervous. He had x-rays this past week on his shin-I just didn't even have the heart to write you guys about it. The x-rays show nothing so they wanted to do a bone scan but he decided to let it go...he said if it breaks it breaks....Hope everyone has a great weekend and I look forward to hearing stories come Monday! Love to all!!

Happy 4th everyone!!! Means a lot more this year!!! Thanks you guys for all the comments and prayers and good thoughts. This has been a very difficult time. I did not get to see my son...the woman who was supposed to come and stay with "my patient" backed out. BUT-my son and I talked and honestly he needed to be with his friends at this time. Two funerals in two days and trying to be a comfort to 700 kids was enough to deal with for him. We both decided (reluctantly) that I would take a back seat this time. I consoled myself by pretending that he was not in the state of Georgia!! I just really felt that he needed to be able to concentrate on his firends at this time. I love you all and I hope that you are all having a great holiday weekend. proudlimom-thank you-it has been a very hard time for both of us....Happy Independence Day Ladies!
