Good Morning Everyone and Happy start of a new week!!!! I hope you are all having lots of communication with your sons!!! Congratulations Wyomingmom on your daughter's graduation!! Maybe ow you can have some down time!! Jill-WELCOME!!! It's never too early and we will be happy to answer your questions!! The next classes for SWCC start July 5th! Our sons were not grad-n-go. In fact they were on hold in Great Lakes for a few weeeks because California was not ready for them. BCT (Basic Crewman Training starts in July and ends in August-then CQT starts and I am not sure when they finish. I am assuming your son is headed for SWCC, too. Here's a little friendly advice-be careful about mentioning your sons name. I see you have displayed your name as well as your sons in your screen name. Just be careful especially since your son is still in Boot Camp. We can all atest to the fact that RDCs scan this web site and if you give out too much information they will target your son! When is you son's PIR??? Hang in there because once that part gets over you have lots of communication and the world seems a little better!! PIR is awesome!!! You will feel pride like you have never known!! I am getting chill bumps writing about it!! We are glad to have you and please ask as many questions as you want. We can all help you survive the roller coaster of Boot Camp!! Again Welcome and here's to a great week to everyone. PS-One of my son's room mates DOR'ed Friday :(

Happy Friday Everyone!!!! Thank God I have already been on a diet!!! It may take me four years to get this weight off for the wedding!!!! lol!!! Wyomingmom this is the deal with the number-there are two sets of troops who make up group 11 (example used) right now the first part is training while our guys are doing indoc, etc. these guys will finish then our guys train...then the two sets combine to make Group 11. That's kinda confusing, but anyway that is what the number is for. I am thinking about you guys this weekend! Tell my girl I said hi!!! Hope everyone has a good weekend! Love to all!!

Comment by wyomingmom on May 21, 2010 at 10:45am
proudlimom--You know you ARE invited. Remember we still have to teach you the art of "Bumming" I am ready for graduation--got my house cleaned last night, which makes no sense at all. Why do I spend hours cleaning, when there are all kinds of people coming....then I also have to clean when they leave...LOL I finally received an address this morning. Does anyone know the significance of the single number at the end on the class. Does anyone know if all the boys are the same class? Thanks ~~~~~TGIF~~~
