Hey Everybody!!! So I am back home from my trip. Loved being with my daughter!! I was so proud of her last night!!! My son has called me three times today. They got liberty so once when he called they were on the beach, the next time they were shopping and the next they were headed out to dinner!!! He said it is still messed up because nobody is sure what is going on, but they ARE in CA and he just feels better being in the right place!!! I hope you are all well and happy!! I am absolutely exhausted. Will check in tomorrow!!! Love to all!

wyomingmom ...OMG right back now I'm really nervous .....I hope they let the 810 swccs room together. Is it just me or is any one else feeling like we are in for another rollercoaster ride.? I bet if those boys have liberty over the weekend they will be on the beach tomorrow , I told my son he needed to stay away from those blonde, blue eyed, cal / girls ....he said right mom will do, I don't believe him for one min.

Take care!!!!!

So, My son called yesterday afternoon to tell me they were walking on the beach....with all of the confusion, I thought he met they were in SD......not. He said guess what we are doing here. I could not guess correctly. They (dunno who all) took their recruit ball caps and burned them on the beach. It sounded like they were having a blast. It was their last hurrah for GL. Also he told me that they may not have much direction when they get there, one cuz it will be late tonight and secondly weekends are liberty. That made me think OMG, I hope he is wrong. Tennis Mom...I am nervous right with ya. {{HUGS}}

I can't believe that they are finally leaving for SD tomorrow....my son is very excited !!!! Tennismom--I agree....I am sure that they are nervous.....but as long as they all do their best, that is all we could ever hope for. They will be fine....they are all strong-willed young men!!! I am very happy for them!!!

Thanks alot proudlimom. I was so hoping that they were reading or studying. LOL I asked son yesterday if I could go to SD with him, as I could use some sun....He said "I could go....just not with him" Tennismom sounds like you have great connections for when you go out. I am so proud of them all, I wonder how they are REALLY feeling with this next big step in their carreer.

Ok, ok, so we all thought our boys became studious, lol.....i found out that they spend all this time in the library to use the internet connection and go on their laptops!!!! It was a nice thought for a little while anyway!!!! lol

Hi Ladies......I would take snow or hot and sticky over the disgusting misting cold rain that we have here in NY....but I would love the sun & sand!!! Wyomingmom--We should not wait to take a trip to SD....we need to have a reunion soon!!! Pam--Have a great time at your daughter's graduation!!! Enjoy!!!

snow I wish! its hot ,sticky , and very humid in TX . but, unfortunatly its only going to get worse the average temp around here in summer is 105. I'm hoping to get out to S/D before A school starts. My husbands brother lives in the S/D area he works close to the Naval base , he can see the beach from his office the navy guys are always running on the beach he said they stand out because they have to run in their comat boots. Its hard to think they may not make it through SWCC training, wyomingmom, thanks! i'm also happy to be aboard
