Good Morning! My Sailor got his phone finally last night! He said they are supposed to get their orders today. I am so excited about seeing my daughter limom!!! She is excited, too! I talked with her last night and she seemed very relieved that her final exams and observations are over. I don't know if I told you guys how little she is-only 4'10" tall. She said her robe fits but her honor chords are longer than her!!! lol!! I will talk with you guys more later. Love to all!!

Hi Everyone!! Pam--I am glad that you are feeling better....you must be so excited to see your daughter!!! I am planning a trip to Florida in August to see my daughter.....I can't wait to see her! I have not heard from my son since Friday, so I guess he still did not receive his phone & Computer......so much for sending it all overnight!! I learned my lesson!!! Hope everyone is doing well....Will catch up later!!

Wyomingmom-I am better-just some sinus stuff. Had plenty of rest this weekend so I am ready for the next big trip! I leave May 11th!!! Can't wait to see her!! I know exactly what you mean about your Sailor not coming home-I feel the same way! It is prom season and classes ending at college so most of my son's friends are into major partying right now. Even though it sounds like he had a great time in Chicago yesterday I like the thought that he has rules and curfews. This is where a lot of Sailors get lost-during the transition time-they lose focus. So even though I would love to have more time with my son I am willing to give it up if it means he will stay somewhat focused. He seemed to think they would have some clarity today on when they are leaving. Have a great day everyone!! I am enjoying the rain today! P

tennis mom, glad you found us. We are STILL waiting for the box of electronics to arrive. Had I of been thinking, I would have overnighted the phone and sent the rest priority---That is what Kris did.LOL---Pam you picked a heck of time to get sick. You start feeling better, so you can enjoy your daughters HUGE accomplishment. Anotherproud mom, I am going to tell you a secret. I told "wyomingdad" I am glad our sailor was not able to come home. I am so proud of where he is right now....The maturity..the confidence...the head held high...and so on. I am afraid that if he were to come home now, some of that would be lost. Two of his buddies just rented a house together and the cops have already been there twice that I know of. Don't get me wrong I would love to see him again......But I would rather "bumm" a ride to get to him v.s. have him come here. Hope that makes sense, and please do not think I am putting him down---He is a great kid, I mean young man and will make a wonderful Sailor. As will all of our boys.Love ya all. (-:

Good Morning everyone. Still no cell for my son either. The tracking number shows it in GL----I think we should open up a storage facility in GL that parents can leave belongings at PIR....the boys walk over and pick up. lol It is a nice day here after a mix of rain and snow yesterday.
