Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Jill-- Isn't it amazing to be able to watch your son transition from your little boy to a full grown man in a matter of a few weeks at boot camp?( seems much longer) But, when someone else notices, you get this feeling that is indescribable......... Welcome to a life of Kleenex...LOL

He says he's so happy that you invited him and he can't wait to meet you guys. He sounds really excited. The pictures sound great.I do understand about having someone help with putting them on . I can never thank you enough for having him share Thanksgiving with you and your family. I wish there was a way to repay you. :)

Thank you so much. If it is an inconvenience we do understand it is such short notice. He is 19 and loves kids. I have 8 grandchildren our home is never quiet. He also knows how to do dishes...lol.

I got the rental but, they have already totaled my car and the other driver has no insurance the rental is ours for only 72 more hours. What really bites is I only had 5 payments left.:) oooohhhhh but I just realized I get a brand new car.....lol

Hello everyone,
Wondering if anyone around Norfolk would happen to have room for one more sailor for Thanksgiving? We were planning on driving up to spend the holiday with my son but, had to change plans when a 16 yr old ran a stop sign (while on the phone) and hit my car.

I live in eastern PA, right across the river from Trenton, NJ. My home is always open to any Sailor or Serviceperson that needs a room and a home cooked meal.

Indeed it is 'needs of the navy'... sometimes the sailors don't have enough time to get away, sometimes others in their unit have had their leave chits (requests) first, sometimes they are too close to leaving for deployment or detachments, or a multitude of other reasons.
