Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security
Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.
DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.
DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

**UPDATE 4/26/2022** Effective with the May 6, 2022 PIR 4 guests will be allowed. Still must be fully vaccinated to attend.
**UPDATE as of 11/10/2022 PIR vaccination is no longer required.
**UPDATE 7/29/2021** You now must be fully vaccinated in order to attend PIR:
In light of observed changes and impact of the Coronavirus Delta Variant and out of an abundance of caution for our recruits, Sailors, staff, and guests, Recruit Training Command is restricting Pass-in-Review (recruit graduation) to ONLY fully immunized guests (14-days post final COVID vaccination dose).

Kaye--- your son would be welcome in our home. My son is stationed at Whidbey Island and will be home. Could your son get a ride to the Seattle Ferry? We could pick him up there. Send me a note so we can exchange phone numbers and make arrangements.

Also, I'll be in Arlington, Texas this year at my sister's house for Christmas. She and I would both love to host any sailor that would like to have an English feast for dinner (roast beef, yorkshire puddings, whipped potatoes, a gallon of gravy, trifle, and lemon scones)! Hugs, again, Kaye

Hi, Ladies,
I left this same post under the "Washington State" sub-group above, but thought I'd put it here, too.
I would be so very, very grateful for someone to have my son in their home at Christmas. He's a Nuke on the ALABAMA sub (Kitsap) and will be on cruise very soon. However, the Captain promised them a few days near the 25th in port, after which they will deploy again until March (so no time to come home). Also his birthday is Dec. 15th. These are the second (IN A ROW!) birthdays and Christmases he hasn't been home, and he's only been in for two years.
Son's girlfriend gave him the "need space - just be friends" talk on the day before Thanksgiving. So he spent the day alone and has called me in tears several times since... homesick and broken-hearted over his first love. He's my "still water that runs deep" and he really needs some mothering.
I don't know what else to mention... he loves baseball, history, Star Wars, and Eddie Izzard. He's also an Eagle Scout who loves the outdoors and camping (been to Philmont). Thanks for being there... Kaye

I can host (and will have one at home) someone either here in Deep East Texas or possibly even Conroe, TX. I don't know of anyone that would come this way, but we love cooking and sharing! I absolutely promise we wouldn't make them clean any stalls! Just kidding C.

I forgot to mention that in addition to being available for Christmas, not Thanksgiving. Also, we are close to Scott Air Force Base in Illinois, if anyone happens to know also about air force personnel.
