@ashley_christine:  I think It's in San Antonio.  You can check by visiting the website for Medical Education Training Campus - they have a live-chat function, or you can call them.  Here's the link: METC

@luvmysailor - there is a group for Camp Lejeune Moms, you could start there :)  Also, maybe try checking out this? meetup.com for Jacksonville NC

The sites for Camp Lejeune and Pendleton are a little different as I recall - I think the CL one has more info (a checklist) regarding what they have to bring.  It's the second link in this Discussion:  http://www.navyformoms.com/group/CampLegueneMoms/forum/topics/fmtb-...

BTW - you'll also see Lejeune misspelled in that group's name :)

Thanks, Marcy.  Also...little typo in the title of the group gets me chuckling every time!  I will join the moms at Pendleton as well!

DramaSoul, my son says a basic dual head stethoscope is fine. You can get them at http://www.allheart.com and have it personalized too.  Be sure and join the Pendleton moms group http://www.navyformoms.com/group/camppendletoncorspmen  :)

Hi.  I have a son graduating from A school as a Corpsman on July 2 and going FMTB reporting to Camp Pendleton.  He will get 2 weeks leave and be home for the first time since he left for GLRTC on January 4th.  I am sooo excited. I haven't seen him since March. I am going to his graduation and looking forward to having a weekend with him in SA.  Haven't missed a graduation of his since he started pre-school!  I had wanted to get him a gift and someone suggested a stethoscope but I have no idea which one.  Any ideas?

If you have a corpsman in Naples, Italy - or headed there, or has been there, or hoping to go! - pls join & share http://www.navyformoms.com/group/corpsmen-in-naples-italy

There's so much to figure out, from cell phones to car ownership (or not to own), barracks, internet, housing etc :)

He can have his laptop and cell phone, and will be able to use them right away. This link will give you details on restrictions and when they can have guests: http://www.navyformoms.com/group/sailorsinaschoolforcorpsmen/forum/...
