OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Peggy, be sure and go over to the right, under Navy speak.  There's a calendar there to make events.  Post your Meet & Greet, and then you can put a link to it here on the discussion page :)

Would Love to have went to this event, but this is one of my SA's last weekends at home, before he leaves on November 4th for BC! Finding that I am really gonna need a lot of support through this, as he is my youngest (20) and we are SUPER close! Some days are better than others, but lately I feel the clock ticking away, faster than I wish it would :(

We're just a message away if you need any of us.  I'm down south, but these are great events to attend.
