Carol,
Thanks for posting Molly's group! :-) Karen
Hi Carol, I know that there is a "Sailor Supply" list in the Disscusion Forum of Molly's group that I am sure may help with gathering some of the basic items that they may need. Maybe we could post it some how to this forum?????? If you should need any help let me know ....I could print lables or something for the Meet and Greet.
Thanks---I think I can get the link to post, including the labels to put on our boxes and letters.
karen,
Molly's group has a label to print made up already. If you join that group you will have easy access to it. I am a member of that group and we just finished mailing out packages to the USS Crommulin. We adopted a whole ship! It was fun gathering things, mailing out, now there must be an easier way! I used flat rate boxes to send everything.
Hey Cathy, I am a member of it as well, and your right it is such Great fun! My girls and I just sent out 10 letters,12 cards and 9 pics that the kids from the neighborhood made (they were so cute) along with some magazines on Friday!! I also ordered the boxes with the "America Supports You" on the side of it ( I think that is what it says) yesterday! I am so excited about this months theme "FOOTBALL"....WoooHooo!! I was thinking of seeing if our local football team could donate a Jersey that has been signed by everyone on the team...to me there's nothing like a small hometown team to give you those warm fuzzy feelings of home....lol ...I was just trying to think of what would over all be the easiest for this group without anyone feeling obligated to joining Molly's group...know what I mean. My daughter, Shelbi and her bestfriend are trying their hand at making pilllowcase but when I was cleaning her room I some how threw the paper away with the dimensions on it....Ooops! So now I have to see if Sue will send it to me again...I'm sure she will!! Do you sew or knit?
