Having gone from the lone Navy mom (at least it felt that way!) for almost 7 years in this area, I've gathered a growing group of moms, wives, girlfriends, sisters, and other Navy family like dads.  We're meeting July 21, 8am, at Panera at the corner of Kimberly and Elmore in Davenport, Iowa.  No agenda except to meet each other though I want to discuss a packing party or two--in the Iowa and Illinois QC area.

8 AM?? Well, you are just going to make me get my dead butt out of bed EARLY, huh??? LOL!! Would you please send me the exact address? Pat
Oh gosh, I wish you were having this on a weekend, I would be there in a heartbeat!!!!  But keep me posted on anything coming up in the area!  I'm thinking about having one in late September, early October but it would be on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon!
I didn't pick the time and place, but we'll do another one.  I want to have a packing party in August as I'll be gone a lot in September and October.
Come to think of it, who did pick the time and date?  Not that I can't make it, but I just can't remember now.

A little birdie told me we have a good group coming up in August!!!

Hmmm--wants to just discuss a packing party.  Ruth, you have got the best of moms in Illinois who would love to guide you though a packing party.  See Pat L may be coming.  She's awesome:) ! :) !

IN the meantime, is everyone who is on facebook on Molly's Adopt a Sailor there?  We need your votes for our Combat Hospital.  More information there, but will send anyone some links if they need them.

Hugs

Carol

Hi, I am pretty new at this and just joined Illinois Navy for moms, or I have joined 20 times and didn't know it!!! I saw you had a meet and greet at Panera.  I am so sorry I missed it, I only live 15 minutes from there.  I will watch for more chances. Thanks, Pam
Sam's mom, the meet and greet at panera is this Thursday. You haven't missed it!
I just sent a friend request to you.  Also, join the Quad-Cities Navy Moms group!
Ruth, Sorry, I won't be able to come on 7/21. Forgot to look at the day of the week. Hope to see you soon. Pat
