I'm sorry too, we just have so much going on in the next 5 weeks preparing for my son to leave for Boot Camp, I don't want to miss even one minute of my time with him before he goes. Peoria would be an all day thing for me since it's at least a 2 hour drive for me. Have fun!

Ok question for all of you gals. How about getting together for lunch on Saturday August 25th in Peoria? Anyone up for this or would another location be better for you gals? Probably would be around 1pm. Wanna see what we can do about getting together before a few of us getting busy with marching band season. If this works let me know. I will get figure out a place and we can go from there. Have a great Sunday everyone!

Hi Navym29  - I'm from Taylorville and my son leaves for bc on Thursday.  He is part of Cardinal Company and will be leaving for St. Louis on Monday to practice for the swearing in ceremony at the Soldier's Memorial and at the Cardinal game.  Glad to find a mom close to where I live.

I'm so excited as I'm in the city where my daughter's ship is finally coming back too.  I'm sure she is excited to almost be here after being on a ship with approx 6,000 people for the last FOREVER!!  Oops, did I type that outloud!  LOL
