medic mom -- i grew up in Peoria & my Navy daughter is a Navy nurse :]
Emily - I'm still at home in Rockford. Hubby will only be in A School for about 4 months, so we aren't moving. It's only a 2 hour drive and he got a special chit so I can be his liberty buddy, which means I sign him out and he doesn't have to have 2 shipmates go everywhere with him (which is the rule right now). We'll see each other every weekend, at least one day even if he has duty one day on the weekend.
i am always up for lunch {:oD
Looks like we need to get a lunch together so we can all meet.
Navym29 I am from right outside Peoria and like medic mom said that all that far from you.
i am in between peoria and bloomington, so not too far away
We also have one down by Decatur
Navym29 I am from Peoria. Not that far away from you. Only about an hour.
Carol, The name of the "Frankfort" town in Southern Illinois is actually 'West Frankfort'! And it is in Franklin County!
I am from the Springfield area! Anyone else close?
Thetwoi and NM*ll I am in Hazel Crest 15 min, from both of you. I would love to get together to have lunch or dinner with you both. I am free evenings and weekends. Let me know. I would love to meet you both.
