Hey everyone!

Carol--I know what you mean about cabin fever. I guess we get a double dose this year--one for heat and one for cold.

NM*Il--Sanmor is a wealth of information on Whidbey Island. She knows all the insider stuff and more! My son will be haeded there after A school too, sometime in September we think..

Hope all your sailors are well and happy.

Is there more than one Frankfurt in IL?  The one I know is near Jefferson Co., down south.

We have a Molly's Adopt a Sailor mom who works close to Widbey Island.

All others--sorry I haven't been on here much.  Think it's this summer has given me cabin fever, and just not been on our page enough. Hope all is well with everyone.

Emily, Frankfort is about 30 miles south of Chicago and East of Joliet. I'm about an hour and a half from GL.

Hi NM,

What would you like to know, do you know which squadron your sailor is going too??

Sanmor It was so nice to see in writing that someone else has a sailor in Whidbey Island. Just today I was told my sailor will be sent there after A school. Do you have info to share about the base. What does your sailor do there?

Hello Emily, I'm in Frankfort. Welcome.

Hi Emily! Welcome to the group. I am in Woodstock--not very far from Rockford. My son had his PIR on 7/13 and is waiting to be sent for SB school. He might be leaving on Saturday.

Hey Greenoak, I am right in between bloomington and peoria. I am from loch lomond and worked for Nato, my husband got stationed on our depot, he was not stationed in dunoon, but went there to pick up mail etc.

This is too funny, we were over in bloomington to have lunch with other mums lately, wished you had came.
