So I am confused about filing the Illinois taxes too.  My son said he didn't have to and the pay site also says something in regards to this.  But, do you still have to file some type of form.  He is not having his taxes done on base.  Thanks to anyone who can answer this for me.

Must file.  There's help on bases, ships, etc.

I need a little help. I'm doing my son's taxes tonight. If he understood correctly, he doesn't pay IL taxes. So does that mean he doesn't have to file them? Or is there a special form? He goes back to the ship this weekend and will be soon leaving on deployment, so wanting to get it done.

Hey Barb, I am seeing this get worse in the forecast as the day rolls on. I think we might as well cancel the whole thing, and possibly do it in a week or so.

Now gone up to 5-7 inches, so I think I am cancelling out gang.

Awesome Barb. Noon Saturday at the panera bread across from the mall next to fresh market. This will be fun, there will be 5 of us. Sorry Jn/Jf Mom and I am sure we will plan one that suits everyone soon. :-)
