Hurray - Home coming SOONER !!!!
He should have his orders with him - well, my son did. I am hoping and have my fingers crossed, that your son just gets to come home earlier and stay his time - not get ship out sooner
Fingers - toes - knees - elbows - etc all crossed for good luck

HI
I write them or the poems tell me to write them. Everything I have posted is from me. Please use them. I try to remember to write them down, but I forget :)

I just somethimes want to share how good it feels to be here and how I appreciate it when someone just says the right words that fit a need. Pat said the this place was like a Blanket of Support. so the words just fell out.

On another site I am on - the Japan Moms - we still set a time on a holiday to toast each other. Its our way to be together and all share that moment of caring. We also light a candle. So we think of each other and our Sailors. I try to place those toast here too. I think of all you too Here was Thanksgivings:

The candle is lit
My glass held high
Thank you Creator
For blessing me with Navy Moms
Who are always at my side.

T-Lynn, may I borrow your poem? Did you write it or do you know the author?

To Pat:

"My Blanket"

I have speical blanket
It is soft and warm
And even though it is four years old
and a bit worn

I carry my blanket with great pride
It was made with kindness and care
For it's comfort - that it shares.

I use it daily
not just for speical needs

But a day comes
when my heart just cannot beat
and tears flow down my cheeks

I run and get my blanket
And the fears fade away
Because I am wrapped up
in supporting Love always.

My blanket is not real for most to see
It is my support from fellow Navy Moms
Who feel the same things as me

So to the new Moms
Come and share
Your joy and your tears.
Your blanket is waiting
To hold you so dear.

Thank you

Sailor's pet turlte - Shark
She was able to go and see Santa Shark asked for her Sailro to come home and to get a new train to run around the tree. I wish for Sailor to come home too.
Early - Merry Christmas wish to all.
