Oh, Sanmor, i wish i could come down & meet you for lunch! Unfortunately our son has a ballgame. Next time??
I have a couple of errands to run in Peoria this Saturday Feb1, anyone up for a little lunch at maybe panera bread or somewhere??
Tiger cruise on a submarine? Well, hubby would qualify. But no females on sailor's sub yet.
My hubby and younger son did the tiger cruise when my sailor was on the USS Enterprise. I would have needed a female sponsor on the ship to be able to go on the tiger cruise.
No problem though, I wasn't planning on going. I like showering everyday in something bigger than a locker and sleeping in a bed bigger than a lateral file cabinet drawer!
My younger son couldn't decide between Air Force or Navy but after the tiger cruise he chose Air Force. He said no way could he live on the ship for more than 3 days. He has a new respect for my older sailor son!
Hubby said the ship put on a mini air show when they were underway and it was unbelievably fantastic. I'm sure it was but I will still be waiting on the pier!
My husband is planning to do the tiger cruise. Our other son and myself will hopefully be on the pier to watch the ship come in. That's our plan anyway. However, I've send two separate emails containing newsletter sign-up info, but have never heard back on that.
Me and my husband want to do the tiger cruise. I am looking forward to getting more information.
No one doing the tiger cruise??? I hope to be able to do it, but my son might be made to call for orders, but his command is trying to keep him for the whole deployment
We might have to start our own club!
My son is on the Bush as well. He will be home for a few days at the end of the month! He is IS.
We might have to plan one heck of a road trip for the homecoming!
