FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Just got a call from Illinois ----Pat said her house is so full you cant even walk threw the living room. Commander of the VFW is also there in attendance --woooo hoooooo go Illinois

Just remember which closets youpacked full adn NOT open them during the photo shoots. Congrats ladies - have an wesome time. CAn't wait to see those photos of you beautiful ladies :)

Sue, Okay you wiseacre, I don't have time to fool around. It is very apparent that I am not as neat and organized as you. So I'm very busy cleaning, cramming stuff in closets and under beds!! I'm trying to make a good impression here!!!!!!! LOL LOL LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

HI EVERYONE!!! UPDATE on the packing party this Sat. There will be representative of the Governor's here. And MAYBE press coverage and a Pepsi bottler rep. The Pepsi PR dept. contacted me and is trying to arrange things. So bring your best smiles!!!

Dear IL Moms - I panic again and did NOT double check the snopes. Turns out that virus warning was a hoax. i did not think 0 I just reacted. I am so sorry.

Can't pacticipate in teh any events yet. This is the weekend of the BIG MOVE for my son and FDiL. Fingers crossed for all to go well - please!
And the cookie party - is mom's 90th birthday. Havea a goodtime all and a good weekend
