Hello all in Illinois:) My son will be in Great Lakes for BC 10/5. It's been a long wait. He's been a Depper since Jan 2010 for the Nuke program. It's pretty bittersweet...I'm ready for him to go because he's been getting on my last nerve, but I'm very proud of his decision to serve.

hi everyone! i've been busy with work lately. well, it seems my family is having a change of heart because they see me truly "fighting" for this relationship. normally, i'm the type if they don't like my boyfriend, i kind of toss my hands up and say "oh well!" but of course, i'm a little older and wiser now (at 30) and want them to be a part of my new journey. and to linda k- carol stream is not too far from me! haha. i live in inverness right now, bordering hoffman estates. are you planning on having a big wedding? mine will be very very small. my family isn't too keen on the idea of a courthouse marriage although that is the most comfortable option for my sailor and i (time-wise and financially)...so we are looking at something that's one step above that, but not a full-blown wedding. since i'll be moving to tokyo with no plans of working anytime soon, i need to save every dollar i got!

and how funny that would be! if i could afford it, i WOULD reserve a table for the illinois N4M!!! awesome idea! i'll see what i can do. :)

And what do you do at a Baseball Game? Drink Beer Note: All of these fabulous photos have been taken by Ricky Flores. A shipmate of my son's and the ship's photorapher. This young man is a natural talent with a camera/ I am so grateful for allthe pictures he shares.
