Me!Me! I am totally excited for Saturday. Let me see how many are coming? Let's see there is you and me and furture docs mom and angie and pentwater and pat plus1 and jn/jf and greenoak and maybe barb. If I am missing anyone please let me know. I just know that I cannot wait to see everyone again and the ones that I haven't met yet also.

You guys are playing a little early for me. I will be there around 10 with future docs mom to watch LCHS and Marian Catholic play. Gonna need a little more sleep after dropping off the kid so I can be wide awake for all of the fun afterwards. Besides my kiddo has a long day that day. He gets to play at ISU and WIU. Poor kiddo and poor band. LOL

debzz3,  I know that there are more Navy Moms in Southern Illinois, I just don't think they know about this site or just don't get on here very often.  It seems like it goes in cycles, very active then no activity at all!  But, if you ever need another mom to laugh with, cry with, or vent with....there is no better place to be then here!  These moms understand and are a wealth of information!

that's a good idea. We do all our shopping and stuff in Cape as it is closer to us than places in IL. So MO would be good, we're only like 20-25 mins away.

debzz3-Check out the MO moms group and the KY group. You may find some northern KY ladies near you. The MO group has talked about a M&G in Kimmswick. That might be closer to you than most of us in IL. If you click on "view all" in the members section it will list home towns.

Sending you a friend request also.

taptap--I sentyou a friend request.  I'm working all weekend for the craft fair at Triad High School.  There has to be a licensed food manager on duty and I've got both afternoons.  Makes up for being off Thur & Fri for parent teacher conferences.  Otherwise, just about any weekend or Thursday evening.

The closest I know are some moms in Mt. Vernon.  I'll keep my eyes open for you.

I meant anyone living down this way. I'm about 1 hour south of Carbondale. Just 14 miles out of Cairo, the very southern tip of IL.

I"m in Shiloh...would love to plan a meet in Fairview area.
