FOLLOW THESE STEPS TO GET STARTED:

Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

ooooo!!  My brain must not be working either.  I thought the meet & greet was this Saturday (today), so i never commented cuz i knew i couldn't do the 20th.  I might be able to do next Saturday!  I'll let ya know by Thursday if i'm in or not.

Pam I was thinking of 1 o'clock at Applebee's in Bloomington. A few of us moms are gonna be at ISU for a bit for marching band competition. Thought it would be great to get together when we are done. Stop by if you can. Would love to have you there. I will be posting about it again next week.

Btw the Applebees is across the street from the Olive Garden on Veterans Parkway. I do remember that. At least I will know where I am going. LOL

Ok Pat I am starting to show my age. LOL I had to look back in the comments to remind myself where I said we were gonna meet. It will be Applebees in Bloomington at 1pm. Boy it just bites when the brain doesn't wanna work right. LOL Glad to hear that you will be there. I have soooo missed all of you gals. Been way too long since we got together and just sat around chatting and eating. Cannot wait.

Linda and Pat - 10/27 is not good for me either. Everything else seems open....at least for right now....LOL
