Medic mom, I would be game for a meet and greet in Springfield, Sandy and I might even ride together!  We would not be available for the next couple of weeks, Sandy's son will be home for a visit in 7 days!!!!  The meet and greets are alot of fun, but I have to tell you, if tatoos are involved I will hold someone's hand but I am not getting one! (This is reference to previous posts regarding the next meet and greet)

Ok everyone. It looks like I am gonna postpone the lunch for awhile. I am gonna see if I can get a couple of different ones together. I was thinking of having a lunch somewhere that the northern gals can come and one for the southern gals to come to. I was thinking of doing one in Joilet and one in Springfield. At different times of course. LOL If you gals are game I can work on something like that. It would be wonderful to see as many of you gals as we can. Let me work on things and see what we can do. Sorry Sanmor. I didn't mean to rain on our parade of lunch. If you still wanna do lunch and Jn/Jf Mom if you wanna also just let me know. I am still game to meet up on Saturday. I don't mind if it is one or two of us or a whole herd. Hanging with Navy moms is the best. Have a wonderful day everyone. Hope to see you gals soon.

Medic Mom - next time there is a lunch in Springfield I will try to get up there. I know I missed the one in March because it was PIR weekend for us. There are a couple of ladies around the Litchfield/Carlinville/Taylorville area that might be up for that, schedules permitting, and it is about 2 hours for a couple of us down this way too. Thanks so much for making the effort to get us moms together once in a while. I have been to 2 navy mom lunches and loved them both.

Medic Mom -- i'm still up in the air about next Saturday.  I'll try to check the site to see if it's a go or not.  Otherwise, i'll watch for a future plan.

I was in Peoria today.  Perhaps i'll contact you sometime in the future when i know i'm gonna be there again.

hugs to all ...

Zach's mom that would be great. I think there are a few of us from up north who can swing it a little closer to home.

I do have an idea though, the Frankfort Fall Festival is coming Labor Day weekend. They have the largest craft and art show in the country and it can be a lot of fun to window shop. If anyone would like to plan a day to come up for that, we could all meet up for lunch and listen to the free entertainment there? Then it's a little more than just lunch and the gas can be justified (kinda?)

Thetwoi,

I can make iot on the 25th on Orland Park,   I am only 15 min. from there. Let me know. Sorry Medic mom the three hr. drive each way is a bit much.

It's kinda looking like next Saturday's lunch might get postponed. I would love to get together with you gals some time soon. I understand that right now is a busy time for all of us. I will check into schedules and see what I can do about another date and possibly one closer to where a lot more can make it to. Joilet or Orland Park might be a possibility. Will have to see what's going on and go from there. I will get back to all of you about it soon. If anyone is still up for lunch next week just let me know. I am still game for a lunch here in Peoria. Doesn't matter if it is just me and Sanmor or possibly more.

Would anyone be opposed to coming further north on the 25th for lunch? Like Maybe Joliet, or even Orland Park? I know that is much further for some of you?

Barb no problem about lunch. It is more important to be with your son then come and see us gals. Totally understand.

Glad to hear that everything went fine for her. Happy to hear about your son coming home. I get my son home some time in November or December. It is a good thing that you are getting spoiled. Have fun.
