Choose your Username. For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either). Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username. While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups! Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself! Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind. In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships." OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

You don't have to be a member of Molly's Adopt-a-Sailor to participate... check the main page once a month to see where packing parties are going to be. Hugs! k.

It's been an action-packed week for me, with lots of running and organizing... but, it's been worth it every time we were with the sailors! Daughter said it was like having 50 big brothers (and sisters) in town. I've had fun hugging them, feeding them, and making them laugh. What a great group of young people.

It was super to see you and Jim again, plus meet some new folks like Tracy & Steve, Barbara, the 'other' Barbara & her mom and sis. Can't think of a better reason to meet up again than to do something for our Navy. Hugs again! k.

Comment by Elle on August 18, 2011 at 2:29pm: Attention please Never ever use BBG Communications (Luxemburg) while traveling internationally this company is a rip off... more importantly don't use your debit/credit card to pay for it they charge like $50 a minute!! I'm not kidding on top of that they charge you several times even if you made one call. This company is found at airport on pay phones.
