Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

marine navy mom...the listing above that Kaye has posted is the most current list...the link you provided hasn't even posted the events that we know and have known about.  Hopefully you are correct and they will get it updated, but Kaye posted that link back when we first started discussing what to do and how to be involved in Navy Week...I have been watching it for updates, to no avail!

CeeCee-- You will be numb that day! You and your husband should just relax after all the joy and stress that you have been under. Glad the email is working with your son!

I can not go to the fair on Aug.21. I would have loved to meet another Navy Mom.

Vicki--I will be heading back home on the 21st. Probably shortly after breakfast since it's a 4 hour drive.

WHO else can meet with Vicki on Aug 21?  think they may post colors and do a flag ceremony that day for Navy Weeks.
