Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Becky, enjoy your time with your sailor....that time will go soooo fast!!! We're thinking of going to Virginia to see our son the last weekend of April before he gets deployed. Looking forward to it!

Haven't commented much on this group site.  Still fairly new to N4M.  My son leaves for Boot Camp next Tuesday, 3/16.  Any suggestions on some nicer restaurants around the hotel we can go to the night before?  I don't know Indy at all.  Have only been there to go to the airport.  Ideas would be helpful.  Thanks!

I've heard that "G" gig is wonderful, but my kiddos need to get a place of their own and save some money first.  Then, I'll be happy to sign up for the tour :-D

Hi ladies ! My husband and I are from indiana, hes at boot camp right now, and his PIR is 3/4, ill then hopefully be moving to great lakes to live with him while he completes training :). Just thought i would introduce myself ! lol
