Hey, my sailor just told me he was awarded a Navy Achievement Medal!  It was for a good job during the last refit on his sub.  And this is to the kid who's always grumbling about what's going wrong at work... NEVER says it's ok!  So proud, k.

Is there anyone who lives close to Evansville.  We have a Marine coming in... February 28th.  She has been in Afghanistan....  She will be landing at the Evansville airport that evening.

Tureky Run--what a memory.  I was probably all of 4 or 5 years old, and we went to a picnic there.  Of course, my brothers dared me to get close to the creek/river.  So, I had to.  Promptly fell in, wearing my Sunday dress.  The thing I remember most is that THEN I had to wear my swimsuit the rest of the day.  Big brother and Dad saved me, needless to say.

Hi.  Who wants to start a Hoosier Packing Party for our troops?  It's lots of fun and very addicting.  Hearing from those we adopt makes your day, your week, your month, your year.  Hanging thank you notes makes you appreciate what we have.
