OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Mindy is right on SR9, north of Dollar General, on the west side of the road in a big white house.  Met her through my best friend's, who we lost 7 years ago, husband.  She is his second wife and a doll.  Love the way she styles/colors hair.

ladycope...deciding what she wants to do in the Navy, looking at ASVAB scores and then the big decision, when is she going to enlist. My son enlisted 3 months before his graduation and then was on DEP (delayed entry program). He didn't actually go to boot camp for another year. He's now been away from home for almost a year..he's had a couple leaves but now is on a ship for a month and then in May, he's deployed for 7 months.  All I can say is get ready for lots and lots of tears, buttons popping off your shirt because you're so proud and the support from other NavyMoms...This is a great place. I met a lady on here (a year ago) that helped me cope and to this day, still talk to her and she has become a great online friend (she's from Georgia). So grab the tissues, reinforce the buttons and so glad you're here! Welcome!!
