OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

Thanks to all...this has been a ROUGH 9 weeks. The first week was a nightmare staring Freddy Krueger!!!!!!! No joke I swore I was going to stop breathing at any moment. Some of the ladies from "boot camp" came to my rescue. My blayke is the last one to leave the nest so it is me and the pup. God love my great dane!!
Anyway, he finally called so I told him that if I am the first one to get a hug on PIR day then he wouldn't have to come home because he is grounded for LIFE and clean the bathroom/head with a q-tip.
You never know how much you love them til they are gone. Thans to all, I will be looking for more PIR tips and clues. I don't think I can ever get enough.

Hello everyone, I wanted to introduce myself. I am blayke's mom. He is supposed to be doing battlestations tonight so I am a whomping mess waiting on that call. His DIV won the captains cup yesterday so I am thinking that is a good thing. Anybody have any advise about PIR~~I am staying at the Ramada so I hopefully did that part right. Thanks Amy

Game for a cookout...but not in weather like we had the last couple of days...yards and roads are littered with limbs, whirrlygigs, leaves, bits of flowers from the flowering trees, etc. It is still quite windy here...wet, wind and upper fifty/lower sixties temp are not comfortable.

NDM & NDJ--I was hoping it was the two story with the sun reflecting brightly from the windows, that would encourage more to join you!!
