Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility.

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.

All summer, all day, all night... "Westies" are just party "animals!" (yuck, yuck... get it? "Westies?" "animals?") Gee, I crack myself up! k.

Hello, I'm new to Navy Moms, and Indiana Moms. I think I will like it here. I need some military support!

Tonight, at the Westies dinner, there were 12 of us... and 5 of those folks were new to Indiana Moms! Thanks to Linda P., Rosiebekks + hubby, and Misty + daughter for joining us -- we hope you'll join the crew again next month.

Sadly, PO Kohlmann had to drive a new recruit downtown today (remember the hotel the "night before?") and couldn't be with us. But, he promises to try again next month. Happily, MY sailor was there and told me that he had a good time! He hugged everyone who wanted one.

Ya'll have fun on the 24th, up in South Bend. Sorry hubby & I can't be there... I've never eaten in a Volcano before! Hugs, k.

Sure has been a lot of 'underground' activity in the last couple of weeks! One never knows, although if the Volcano was down here in southern Indiana I would think the chances of a 'shaker' would be better!

There's a sailor staring into my refrigerator right this second; he just moved there after leaving off staring in the pantry. He arrived Wednesday morning and has just informed me that, "There's nothing to eat in this house." That's because he ate the things we put there Tuesday night. God love 'em... you can't kill them and you can't fill them up!!! k.
