I just started a new group, "Quad-Cities, Joined by a River."  If you're close, you might want to join us in some projects and support.

Just know there are many of us, Jo, who have been through this, so we feel your sadness, but also pride in what your son is doing. Thank you, Navy Mom!

For anyone interested--Armed Forces Day is observed this year Sunday, May 22, on Arsenal Island between Rock Island and Davenport.  It's going to be a good day with lots of things to do.  Hope some of you might come.

I haven't heard of very many if any others going to Fort Leonard Wood. I have no info about it so if anyone has any that would be great.

He will be going for construction.

When I said "name  names" I meant both first and last, so everything is cool.  Sorry, I didn't read closely.  We're in the middle of Texas on our way home, so I'm road weary!

Please don't name names publically on here.  Use a private message instead.  I'll be at Great Lakes on May 20th if anyone will be there then.  Let me know.  My son will reenlist before the PIR.
