I've noticed that happening more than once. I'll go look to see something in a group that I'm not following, but says latest activity 15 minutes ago, and it's been two days ago. Maybe some joining but not leaving a message? I don't have a clue either.

I'm guessing that tomorrow no one is going to Grinnell unless you do for critter food. We will make this happen soon though!

I think 9:30, but I doubt that I'm coming. I just checked the weather. Have you? It looks like I could get there, but I don't want to drive home in snow. I don't want you driving so far in bad weather either. What's everyone else think? Should we want till April when we know the snow will be over?

No one showed up for the Illinois get together in Galena, and I don't want that happening in Iowa. I think we need a definite yes from a few moms, too.

The forecast is for SNOW! I was planning on getting there if at all possible, but not in a snow storm for sure.

I am going to try to get to Grinnell on Saturday, but no promises yet. My husband is on crutches for the moment. If I can get him to come with me that would be good. I can "dump" him off at my parents' or he will come for brunch. I just found out that the Illinois get together in Galena just had one person show up. I don't want that to happen! What a disappointment for Sarah who organized the day. So besides Diane and Michelle, who's coming? Even two would have a good visit, but a few more would be nice.

Road Trip!

Penrose is on the east side. You cross it driving out of town on Highway 6, so it's pretty easy. You turn north or left and the Ahrens Center is at the park so you can't miss it.

I'm in Grinnell right now at the Best Western watching the granddaughters get water logged in the pool

I'm going to send out a message to the group if you don't mind. I also got a note from my cousin about a vendor fair in Grinnell on the 28th from 9-1pm, so some of you might want to go after brunch.

I might be able to make it the 28th. (If anyone is around on the 22nd, we're having an 87th birthday party for my dad in Grinnell at Seeland Park Social Center, 1-3pm. It's an open house with people coming and going, so you're very welcome!)

I'll be in Grinnell again March 21, so if someone sets something up, I can come. No time or place will be ideal for everyone. How about those that can get to Grinnell, come? Then someone can set one up in another part of the state. FYI--The Illinois moms have a gathering planned in Galena on the 21st, but that's a long ways for someone from southern Illinois. We just have to do what we can do.

I got the message. Are you suggesting June 28? I'm at Girls State in Ames from the 21st till 27th. Then there's a highland games in DM on the 27th, too. If it's the 28th, I could come probably, but I'd be by myself. Another date, and I'd bring family.
