My son was really excited it was on TV. It's the only Seahawks game he'll probably see this year.

Sorry Jacksonville moms...
Well, sort of sorry... we did pull our quarterback in the 4th quarter.

Hi Jackie! You are another Jacksonville mother with a sailor out here in Western Washington? Holy cow, does the Navy do this on purpose? Our daughter spent 4 years in the Navy and our son has been in for 12 years. We have never had either one of them stationed in our State. Our son is currently in Jacksonville. When are you visiting? Soon?

Teresa, I've been reading your postings about your visit here, sounds like you had a really great time. I'm glad you enjoyed our area. Looks like it might be a little cooler for Marybeth's trip but Teresa really hit the nail on the head with the layering suggestion. We do live in an area where people wear sweatshirts or sweaters with shorts and socks with sandals nearly year round. I'm hoping to get another trip to Jacksonville in this Fall. I'm still waiting to see when the deployment calendar is set so I can have an idea about who will be where when.

Teresa-I hope you have a wonderful time in my area of the country. Just checked our weather and it's mostly sunny all week, mid 70's. We are south of Whidbey Island on the Kitsap Peninsula new Subase Bangor.
