Hey everyone, my boyfriend leaves for bootcamp on January 13th (this wednesday), I think I am more excited for him than sad. I just feel it's my place to be the strength right now. He's going to need so much support from me, as well as his family. So, with the days I have left with him, I plan on only smiling and being positive. It's the only thing I can do! If anyone needs to talk or anything, add me :) We're all in this together.

My son is leaving for boot Jan 13, 2010. I am very proud of him. Towards the end of the school year last year before graduation, his grads were in the toilet because of his dad and myself were getting divorced. We had to help him get his grades up so he could graduate. Our son had dreamed of being in the NAVY for a very long time and we didn't want him to screw up and miss out on his dream.
I have a question, does anybody know if there is a group here that are divorced parents with a son/daughter in the Navy for support?
