Choose your Username.  For the privacy and safety of you and/or your sailor, NO LAST NAMES ARE ALLOWED, even if your last name differs from that of your sailor (please make sure your URL address does not include your last name either).  Also, please do not include your email address in your user name. Go to "Settings" above to set your Username.  While there, complete your Profile so you can post and share photos and videos of your Sailor and share stories with other moms!

Make sure to read our Community Guidelines and this Navy Operations Security (OPSEC) checklist - loose lips sink ships!

Join groups!  Browse for groups for your PIR date, your sailor's occupational specialty, "A" school, assigned ship, homeport city, your own city or state, and a myriad of other interests. Jump in and introduce yourself!  Start making friends that can last a lifetime.

OPSEC - Navy Operations Security

Always keep Navy Operations Security in mind.  In the Navy, it's essential to remember that "loose lips sink ships."  OPSEC is everyone's responsibility. 

DON'T post critical information including future destinations or ports of call; future operations, exercises or missions; deployment or homecoming dates.  

DO be smart, use your head, always think OPSEC when using texts, email, phone, and social media, and watch this video: "Importance of Navy OPSEC."

Hi Everyone... daughter is into week 4 and only 1 letter so far... no call yet.. her division... hard headed and guess they haven't earned a call yet. The problem I'm having is not knowing if she is a Grad and Go to make my plans.. I don't want to wait too much longer ...car rentals and hotels can be cut short a day...but not the flight....any suggestions?

hi my daughter is ship 07 div 111 and is half way thrugh boot camp. she told me about this in a letter that one of the girls in her division mom was on it glad she did

The public affairs office said I had to include the recruit training command in the address and thhe same website as below they have the two forms of address ? On the form letter I got it had rtc in it ,but the letter I got yesterday didn't ,so you see how I'm confused ? I have sent 10 letters ,so far since the 26th

Need help making sure I'm putting the right address: 1st: SR last ,first,m . 2nd ship xx and div xxx. 3rd:Recruit training command: 4th: 3505 sailor dr and 5th line: Great Lakes,I'LL 60088-3505 ... Can anyone tell me if this is right or not !! Thank you !1

Got the Letter today finally! Now we can all start sending letters. Any one out there belong to ship 09 DIV 134? Would love to hear from you. Have a Great day!
