Does anyone Know???? if the phone calls are different times of day. Morning or evening. I'm thinking of forwarding my phone to the cell so i don't miss her call. Because just when i leave home I'm sure she would call.

HELP!! I have a question!! When our recruits try to call home, do they need to call collect? Or do they just get to make a call??

For those of you that may have VONTAGE (internet phone service) collect calls are blocked.. :( So, if you do have Vontage they said the they can make a "local call" out there to connect to a Vonage operator and then he will need to give them the home phone number and operator will connect him to the house... UGH. No wonder why my son tried and couldnt get thruogh... I missed my first "im here" call because of VONTAGE! booooooo

My son had his first real call home yesterday and he left 1/11. I have gotten 2 letters...no news IS good news. They really only get to write at first on Sunday - so it takes a bit to get your letters. Hang in there. Chris had a really tough first week - but now in his week four he is settling in - feeling more confident and proud...still tired..but he is growing and glad he is doing this. It was very hard for me at first... hang in there... you'll miss them - but it gets better for us and them... and it goes by faster everyday..:)
