Beat you Carol, I raised 4, 5 including my husband. LOL.
Debi, my son is 1/8 Irish. I'll toast with wine again, Irish coffee is too sweet for me.
I spent the day driving my dad to Washington DC to visit his cousin. She is the wife of a retired (deceased) navy captain. She lives in the posh navy retirement home in McLean Virginia. Next door to the CIA. The navy treats its own good. We didn't make it all the way because of a snow storm and had to turn around. Very nerve racking drive. I take him every year so I guess we will try again at Christmas/New Years. I took Jonathan the year he finished boot camp. He wore his uniform. You would not believe the fuss the patients made over him. A retired Admiral with Alzeimers spent time with him.

Love the Swiss Coloney idea too. Got to go - hubby is home and I put up the groceries. Then I KNOW where the sugar is! Hugs TLynn PS Hang in there Carol - our ears are here for you as our hugs.

Hi all :)
Debi - I would never fire you . My job is creating nonsence gossip :). And I just thought you were off for awhile. But I know about pressing the wrong keys on the computer. My oldest is starting to run around here like a headless chicken. I decided I will help him wirte out a list of items to pack and the little extras he needs to take along. I feel like Santa - making a list and having HIM check it twice. No I better check it twice. That pie sounds so delcious. Please I know I am not alone with my mouth watering - send that recepie! Need to be busy around the house alittle and have to nag my Mom in doing her breathing exercises. talk later Hugs TLynn

Are you sure just A Wad will be enough President Carol of the Kleenex Club? "Desperate House Wives"? So now we are not only making business for the Kleenex companies - this site can be a TV series? Ok - now we need agents. I want part of the money pie here. With money we earn for this new TV series
. " Sobbing / Gossiping/ Crying Navy Moms and 2 Navy Dads Cooking Show"
we all could finally have a wonderful Meet and Greet! ( told you new Moms I'm the one who starts all the crazy gossip) . I will be taking time to view our star - Carol in her video soon. Are you handing out autographs? OK - sorry I am in a silly mood. Took Mom to her first check up. When the nurse asked me some questions - Mom spoke up and said: OK - Tattle Tale - here's your chance to tell on me. " So I did. Has Cole packed Long Johns to take? And I think Louise's son is leaving for Japan soon too. Pack those Long Johns! My oldest son is busy now finalizing his packing and getting Yen - checking reservations , etc. He will be flying to Japn to be with his brother for Christmas. Oh I hope they behave. Need to rush off again take care TLynn

Desperate housewives! I don't watch it but aren't they all hot. I take that as a compliment.

I was at a shore command in Yokosuka and my mail went to the base post office, to a private box.

That's the PSC (postal service center) and the box number was my own box. Perhaps he has given you his command's address. Not every sailor gets a box number??? They are limited. I know ships and squadrons usually don't, the mail follows them around when they deploy. Send a trial letter to see if it works.
