Happy to hear good news Blondie...keeping her in my prayers that she doesn't overdo it.  Like Mother Like Daughter???

Anti M - so how was the cruise?  Never been on one but would like to someday

Beautiful day here in the midwest...a little chilly this morning but the sun is shining!

Have a great day everyone!

I'm back from a cruise.  Interesting, but weird to me in many ways.  I'm tired from the flight delays too.

Blondie, I am glad your girl is doing better.  She should not need to go back to work for some time, they should have put her on convalescent leave, which can be 30 days, and limited duty after that.  I was essential personnel when I had my health crisis, and my doctors told my command to figure it out themselves ... they were not allowed to make me work and damage my health.  There is no one position so critical they cannot pull a trained sailor from elsewhere, which is why there is a pipeline of readiness.  Your daughter is a go-getter, but sometimes, she has to put herself first!  (Dang it, worry is contagious!)

Gentle hugs Blondie.  Sorry - I giggled a bit when you shared he set off the alarm as NOT to wake her. At least he is giving it his all :). Will keep sending positive thoughts and hugs  . have a god weekend too.

HI

Well, being a teacher Maggs, you even bring work home. Make sure you get some fun time and when you can please share about the little guy. Energy healing still coming.

Oh the waiting game. I think it is on the Navy's favorite ones. Wish your son what he wishes. but will put some wishing in it for mom too :).

Hey- we have all the windows open! The air is SO FRESH !! and the weather - perfect. Right now I have an orchestra of songbirds.

Wish all a great weekend.

Blondie - sailor ok?

Hugs

Prayers still going up for those in need.  Please keep us informed Blondie & Maggs

Heard from my Sailor and he has submitted application for 3 billets (I think they call this the "wish list")  anyhoo, his first choice is Japan.  I admit I'm feeling a little disappointed as I was hoping he'd choose stateside.  It's just the selfish mom coming out in me, you know having him closer to home (like same country) sure would be nice.  But this is his life and if he's happy I'm happy.  He's definitely enjoyed the past 2 1/2 years in Japan!  His 2nd & 3rd choice however is stateside. Now the waiting game begins to see if he gets his first choice or if the Navy will send him elsewhere.  Uugh the waiting...this is the part about the Navy I don't like!

Oh the joys of home ownership....it never ends T-Lynn!

Have a great day all!

HI

He sounds like  great guy Blondie. Please keep us posted on how she is doing.

Maggs - you have not been on. Please any news about the little guy with the blood clot?

Quite here - thank you. Now just planning out the nice warm - sunny weekends. Sand windows - stain windows - coat windows with water proofing. Weed and Feed the yards, but first rake up the dead stuff. Remember to get cover for vent so birds will NOT build another nest inside it. Wash windows - after the other first - and maybe - just b maybe start painting the inside again. Now hubby talks about a new deck. NEW DECK?  We haven't even used the old yet?

So wish all a great weekend. Hugs all

Been off the radar - crazy week, just checking in.

Glad to hear that you in the path of this week's storm are safe.. Blondie hope your sailors improving the "Can't identify" diagnosis is sooo frustrating. She's in my thoughts.

A friend of mine is a storm chaser. This is the tornado that tore apart the little town in Illinois. Minutes after this shot - it hit the town
