Hi MzSnapCup. I also have a son in Japan and I will tell you that there is no way to tell how long a package will take. I just mailed a package 4/12 and he got it 4/22. I mailed a package 2/2 and he didn't get it until 3/17. I do know that if the ship is out sometimes they will try and get it to them on ship, but sometimes they get back before the box made it so now it could be stuck on another ship........lol! I try not to send anything if the ship is out. I try and send it several weeks before they head out. Also, at Christmas time I mailed my box in early November and he did get it around mid December. Good luck and please thank your son for serving from another navy mom :)
Hi everyone! My son just got to Japan last week. I'm wondering, if you mail them a package how long does it take for them to receive it? I'm in Indiana. Thanks! :)
HI
Angel is just going to have to learn to share. Any one want to start a "When Angel Will Share Pool"? The one who wins a Personalized Fur Ball from Angle. I'm starting:
November 25, 3010.
PS. Maggs Glad you are safe from th storm. That pic of the cats waiting for Noah - sure felt like that around here for the past days.
But today has been so sunny - with a warm breeze. Hope all are having better weather days.
Blondie - I just don't know - WHY - you have such weather? I mean, it is like you have a sign above the your town saying: " Go Ahead Make our Day. Any Time - Doesn't matter how much - We can handle it.!" I thought - go take that sign down! Thanks for checking though and that you are ok.
BADma - You know the rule - ALWAYS a Pan Mom. Sorry, girlfriend you r stuck with us. How exciting !!!! And on Mother's Day !!!!! Share a pic please. So very Happy for you. Hey - that song "Cause, I'm Happy " must have been written for you. Going to play it on Mother's Day and think of you.
Miss -check in. All ok from the storm? You stated you were waiting to hear from daughter!
Barb - all ok too?
Oneproudmom - thank you for how he is doing. And so very happy to hear he is coning home in June :). I am planning to to do the spell one more time. and hearing from Kim that her son can help - will make the spell stronger. Please keep us posted and gentle hugs to you.
Kim and Miss - sorry, I have been delayed in beading your Mojo Bags. BUT they will get done. Sometimes they just will not bead - it means - the magic is still creating. I have My Time tomorrow - so I feel like something special is going to be created :).
News I have:
1. Found a few pics from my sailor's weekend with girlfriend. Note - NOT one pic of him and gf. Only places they went. Plus, he sent me a text that he got his package from home. It was filled with a local own business that makes Fisher's Potato Chips. So that box was filled with two kinds of chip flavors - Party Mix, and Cheddar Popcorn. Plus a birght yellow t-shirt with the Fisher's logo on it. I texted back I want a pic. So he post a pic of ONLY the shirt! I then posted on FB - I meant you in the shirt! Still waiting.
2. And I got brave today. I went to a store that I never thought I could ever get fitted for special clothing. BUT was I wrong !!! I have 5 new sexy bras and panties from Victoria Secrets! I am so happy - I feel sexy. And sorry - no pics will be shared.
Well, I am updated. Wishing all a wonderful weekend. hugs
Oneproud, I sent you a friend request. My sailor was here last weekend and I mentioned your sailors situation. He says it happens all the time. He had a story to tell me that I think your son will find useful.
Badma, so happy for you, but you will always be a "pan mom".
