I would love any input regarding what I can send.  Only blankets?  I love to knit and crochet and cross-stich.  I am so motivated to do something to help our sailors!  Please let me know how to get started!

just any kind of blanket from what i understand
And I think they send scarves around the holidays. I'm still trying to finish baby projects that are started (Showers this month-better hurry) before I can commit to this. But I did get yarn for a 6 hour afghan -on sale-woo hoo-so I hope to get at least one in this year. Just enjoy.
Hi Kathy...
Welcome to our group. I am so sorry I didn't see your post until now. Our group has a goal to blanket the entire Navy with a handmade blanket/afghan for every sailor. They need to be twin bed sized or smaller. It is just to give the saiors a touch of home when they are so far away from their families. If I can answer any more questions or if you need any help post to the main board for our group...I will see it much quicker... ;)

Hi Terri,

I just joined this group and I like chroceting blankets and things. I know that you said the group goal is to blanket the entire Navy. My question is how do we know who has recieved one and who needs them still. Please any information you can share with me is a blessing.

Thanks, Tammy

Just joined the group I am so excited to pick up an old hobby that I have and to be doing it for a good cause. My son is in boot camp right now so doing this is definitely going to keep me busy Just want to be sure that all the shipping info is still the same

A quick blanket to make is" MIle a minutes" It is made in strips, they have different versions of it, but the one I make is real simple. They sell a pattern book for this at most fabric and yarn stores.. Again welcome to the group.
