Hello everyone! My husband and I should be in Norfolk,VA on Friday!! And then begins the process of finding a home.. gosh I'm going to be glad once we are finally settled. This will be the first time that my husband has been on a ship (He's been in the Navy now for over 5yrs).. I'm not looking forward to the long deployments but a Navy wive has to stay strong for her Sailor :)

I hope you guys can give me insight to the area?.. are there any fun things to do? places to see? My hubby and I are really into traveling and playing sports together.. We were previously station in Naples, Italy and had a blast there! My family still lives in Italy and I love having an excuse to go back and visit.. Anyway, I would love to meet up with some of you girls!! 2 more days!! :)

There is Busch Gardens and Water Country in Williamsburg.  Ocean Breeze Fun Park in Va Beach.  If you like history there is Colonial Williamsburg, and Yorktown Battlefield. Kings Dominion is in Richmond.  If you are into cars, there is Wacky Wednesdays at Langley Speedway in Hampton.....where local's come to race their cars every Wednesday. It is actually pretty fun. There is also VA Beach and Yorktown Beach.  If you like outdoor stuff, there is Newport News Park where you can fish, rent boats, go hiking.
I am new to the area, so i dont know much. But hubby took me to a hockey game and i loved it. There are a lot of gyms. Im thinking about taking a yoga class or something like that. We live in VA beach and super close to the ocean. I am from OK so living so close to the beach is kind of a new experience.
