Hi...i'm a July 10th mom as well. Just got the 'box' a few hours ago. waiting for the PIR letter. thanks to everyone who posted here - keeps me going.

It is a relief to get actually...I had letters ready to go and flew down to the post-office to mail them off!!...Also, for us personally the earlier PIR is nice because her dad is actually on vacation that week and won't have to take extra "save" days he has...Fingers crossed she keeps that date.

Plus, obviously we're a week closer to seeing her than we thought we would be...So yes, it was a very nice surprise. :)

Jules...I just got my daughters letter also ship 3 div 277, PIR earlier than I thought too !!! Yeah please add me to friends and stay in touch!

Hello! I need a mom to create the 09/07/2012 PIR group. 08/31/2012 ends in Division 278, so 279 and up or the Performing Div of 943 would be it. Friend me and let me know...you can also read the Post about it on the main page of this Group. I have step-by-step instructions and it is a fun thing to do! Veteran moms stay on the group throughout all of BC!

Can you possibly direct some of us to the 8/31 PIR group...For some reason I have the craziest time getting around this site...SMH    Thanks!! :)

It's a big site and made for PIR and beyond so it is harder in the beginning! Just ask if you need anything. If you would like to contact me more diredtly...just friend me!

Ok ladies.  Just talked to my sons recruiter.  Gave me his address!!!!  Whoooo Hooooo!!!   SHIP 9    DIV 283.

How do I find out, or what site do I go on to find out graduation date?

MOMOF2BOYS, here is the link:

http://www.bootcamp.navy.mil/upcoming_grads.asp

looks like it could be September 7th because they only posted upto Div 278 which is Aug 31st.

My son Left from CT on the 11th, received the "box" today. Kept emotions in check, very proud of myself.  His recruiter told me he's ship 12 div 285.... but waiting for the form letter, Slowly proudness is conquering sadness. -Leyann

Okay is everyone getting info and addresses from recruiters? I haven't called my son's yet. I was waiting to get it from BC. I just want to know so I can join in the right group.

I called my son's recruiter, but he did not have the div #. (the most important part!)   I am waiting for the official form letter.

my sons recruiter had nothing for me. She did give me an 800 to call but, I have not done so yet... I guess I will wait for the letter.
