My husband left November 12 he called to tell me he'd made it there and to expect a phone call in 3 weeks. I'm here all alone because we have no kids. I cry every five minutes and time moving slower and slower every time I see a clock. How do I deal with this?

Kielo, you deal with your husband not being with you by thinking about how proud you are of your man. He has made a positive change in your lives. It is not forever. Be of good cheer. Enjoy your time alone. Find ways to support his decision. You'll make it through.

I completely know how you feel :( My boyfriend who I love with every fiber of my being left on November 6th. It hasn't even been 2 weeks, though it feels like its been months, and I'm an absolute mess 24/7. I try to exercise to take my mind off the whole thing, but honestly talking about him to people helps for some reason. I definitely suggest just talking about him to people, and writing him every single day. Even if its just the mundane chores you did around the house that day or something. It always makes me feel like I'm talking right to him :) And I always have to remind myself of how proud I am of him and how he's doing this not only to serve, but also for our future :)

Well, I've. Got one week before my boy ships out. Pastor and church prayed for him today. I cried tears of joy that the Lord bestowed a terrific person for me to raise and I cried selfish tears that I will no longer be with him. He's almost 19 and I am proud of his decision. I'm just gonna really miss being mommy.
Kielo, I am sorry for you. My son is the middle of 3. I cry for him too. Is there something you can do to keep busy? I have read that it will get better. I'm not there yet but we will just have to support each other.
I read all of your comments and I wanna thank you all for taking the time to reply. Right now I'm behind on bills so doing things are out the questions. I barely eat because I have to be responsible and keep fad in the car for work abd school. I want to get up and exercise but I'm not motivated and really don't have the willpower.
