I'm still active here with a couple of groups, especially for deployed miltiary folks....so I will keep this group :Futtlebutt open for anyone who wants to connect with those of us who support liberal and moderate views for our country. Feel free to join us!
Oddly, Salt Lake City is listed as "gay friendly". However, the rest of the state is conservative, although I have a funny feeling my LDS brother votes Democrat but won't admit it. I have most of my family hidden from me on FB.
My son is out of the Navy as of January (7.5 years) and even serving with those Marines didn't turn his liberal heart, thank God!!! His favorite saying when some of them have nerve to post on his FB page ..."haters gotta hate..."....
I'm around. I live in Utah, so I'm depressed most of the time when it comes to politics.
Actually, I"ve come back.
Still staggering from Wisconsin and North Carolina. I'm starting a petition in Maryland (much too liberal a state) to open a sport hunting season on liberals. I know that this seems odd, since I am one, but it will keep us more on our toes, or thin out the lazy ones.
Have you seen the John McNaughton art? http://www.mcnaughtonart.com/. It's very special.
Oh, I hope folks see the sarcasm here.
Anybody still around?
We're not real active, most have split off and headed to other groups or Fascebook.
But Welcome!
