Thanks, Cindy! She is hoping to get a better camera before she deploys. We discussed her getting a good digital one with parts that are "sealed" so the sand doesn't get in it. Earliest (we think) she'll go is July.
Saturday or Sunday afternoons work best for me. Let me know when, where and what to bring. Have a good one.
Christine... you and Hannah will be in my prayers, especially tomorrow.

Ladies,
Prayers are with you, Debbie. Being so far away when something like this happens is so difficult.
My dtr, Kay (MA2), got her new orders the other day. She will be assigned to NCIS protective detail in Bahrain. She'll be protecting high rank officers and will probably be visiting a lot of the scenic spots of the middle east! She doesn't know when she'll be going over, so we wait some more! Her re-enlistment ceremony is scheduled for July so we'll be going to WA for that. She may be returning with us and take PCS leave, but don't know for sure yet.
Does anyone know the specifics of Hannah's injuries? I haven't found anything in the posts but I may have just missed it.
Y'all have a good rest of the weekend.

Cindy...Silverdale is just north of Bremerton, WA which is west of Seattle, across the Sound. She is a MA2 @ Naval Base Kitsap-Bangor. She has been in 3 years. Doing well...loves it one day, hates it the next, but think thats pretty normal for a 21 year old! Hope you enjoy Morgan's C school graduation.

Hi Kaywin...welcome to the group. Guess I'm one of the lucky ones. My daughter graduated 2 days before Christmas so we were able to have her fly home with us, spend the holidays then she was off to "A" school in San Antonio. It was definately worth it. We were a little hesitant flying to Chicago in December and so close to Christmas but definately worth the trip. She is currently finishing her tour in Silverdale, WA and waiting for orders for her next duty station. We plan to go to WA in May for her re-enlistmest ceremony. Cherish whatever time you have with them. It goes by quickly. Hope to meet you soon. Jane

Well, blame it on old age and brain farts. I just found the link at the bottom of the page to report a problem so I sent an email to the creators that be to see if they can fix the issue. I'd still appreciate any info anyone might have about this, but please don't go to any trouble researching it for me. I know all y'all have many more important things to do! Thanks again for your help and I'll let you know if I hear anything from the site administrators. Jane

evening ladies...I have a dilemma. I have stopped receiving notification from N4M's when something is posted to this group. This has been going on for about 2 weeks and so far haven't been able to figure it out or find anyone who knows how to fix the problem. So, knowing how resourceful Navy moms in Idaho can be, thought I'd put it out there and ask if anyone knows what the problem is or how to fix it. Figure if no one knows then about all I can do is delete myself from this group and rejoin. If anyone has some suggestions, please email them to my private address: jmoore27@msn.com. Hope someone out there can help me with this! Thanks. Jane Moore
